The Glory of God

The second thing we are saved for is the glory of God. The shepherd will stand forth and take justified sinners who have believed in the gospel, and He will take a crown and put it on their heads. Namely, personal relationship with Christ our shepherd, participation in the eternal glory of God and perpetual joy.
