The CME Group, who has a FedWatch tool about the likelihood of rates getting raised or staying the same, says there's a 58.6% chance that rates are not increased. The last meeting, Jerome Powell said that a pause in tightening may be appropriate and left the door open to watching incoming data. Tom Zoellner: If anything, I think the Fed is more likely to continue making small rate increases until it feels absolutely certain that inflation is on a downward glide path towards its 2% target.
