The Past Participle of Er and Er Verbs
Both er and er form the past participle in the same way, just as they do in some other tenses. If trabajar means to work, trabajado could be translated as worked. Let's take another example: Bever means to drink and it becomes bever. We've got er verbs which form the past verb by taking off the er and adding ido or ado. And then er and er verbs, both of which take off the er or the er and add ido, ido - what does all this mean? Well, if we think of comprado, for example, compromado means to buy; concho means bought.
