Sliding Doors and Handprints

Theory: A worker or the owner of the property came over to make some repairs. Then let's say he or she brought their child along with them, or perhaps a neighbor child wandered by. So the baby climbs all over the door, lying on the ground, put ing prints this way and that. The doors are reassembled but those tiny, little hand prints left by said babe were not wiped away.
