Introduction
Invisioning real utopias finds social science together with the category of utopia in order to outline how we understand social transformation to occur. Wright's book demands that we not only say what we think is wrong or unjust, or where we would like to go. i believe there is some consensus amongst the the cohort here a that we'd like to see more socialism, less capitalism. But theory ought to account for how it envisions social transformations to occur. Is it through rupture? Is it through building power outside the state, or might it be through collaborating with the state?
