Widgetsmith is a free, open source iOS app that lets users build their own photo widgets. It's the brainchild of Adam Smith who has been working on it for about two years but only just launched this week. He says he was looking back at his old code base and thinking "why did I do it this way"? And so often you don't know what's going to be successful or interesting until you've actually explored these things like Photo Widget spit.
