The Limits of Micro Simulation Modeling in the Pandemic
Access to primary care data is really limited in the research phase because of the way it's recorded and access issues. So we can see complete patient histories more or less for the first time. The results that we talk about in terms of the future are continuation of trends that we've seen in the past. You should say that the model also incorporates patient level risk factors as well. And obviously there's been big increases in rates of obesity that have kind of counteracted, they've kind of fought against the relative improvements.
