The History of Payment for Order Flow
One of the practices that i think is at least fair to say questionable is this practice of payment for order flow. If you're not very careful it's a highly unprofitable thing to do and a great way to lose money. There are strategies which sort of loosely provide liquidity to the marketplace they're very skittish though.
