There's always some reason why the thing that is your intuition ends out working for the best consequences. I think ethics and morality relate to the all the concerns about navigation that arise once you have multiple agents, or seeming agents, working in this space of uro if you're alone on a desert island,. There isn't an ethical problem arising. But there's stilla navigato, there is. i really think it's you can't name something worth caring about, or some justification for your rule, or some deontlogical principle.
Sam Harris gets back in the VBW ring for another round on moral responsibility, ethical theories, and the grounds for our obligations to other people. Are we at a genuine stalemate when it comes to blame and desert? Is Tamler a closet consequentialist? Is Sam a closet pluralist? Why is Dave such a big Wagner fan? Plus, Twitter shaming: what is it good for? Settle in, get comfortable, pour yourself a drink, you’re in for the long haul on this one.
