The Ontology of Humanity
Human history is a long, protracted process of migration out of Africa and into every inhabitable corner of the globe. Along the way, different groups and cultures came across one another countless times,. Cultures often discovered and rediscovered the same things on opposite sides of the world. The idea of drawing a line somewhere in that history and pretending it represents a real ontological division...is as silly as looking at the national borders of colonized people in say, Africa or West Asia.
