In a job like this, i would argue that you are more at risk of it than most. As humans were we're somewhat reliant on rewards. We like to see some sort of result from our actions,. And we absolutely get better as we get older at delaying gratification or accepting more abstract forms of reward such as pride in your skill level getting higher.
