The Midden Heap
Underneath this massive midden mound is a structure which even by net standards is very unusual and it is unique. The inside was lined with kind of true and awful slabs almost repurposed standing stones laying on edge. This building entrenched tea complete with its own standing stones lying on their edge is unlike any building that the Nessa Brodga team have excavated at the site. So what was it used for? Well it's one of the big questions that we'd hope to answer this year by getting down onto the floor deposits.
