Do You Use Non Gap Accounting for Valuation Analysis?

If I'm going to invest in a company, I am taking a leap of faith in that management team one way or the other. My personal approach is I don't mind using non gap accounting. If I get the sense that I don't believe I can trust that management team up before, I'm just going to sell.
