The Italians Are Not a Great Start to Your Army Career
Duke forces are 195,000 strong on the front and axis forces are 115,000. The allies have twice the tanks in raw terms but they're short of food and fuel. They know that their allies in battle think of them as total patism. It's not a good way you on which to function. As Tika says, the pre-eminent weapon of the desert battlefield is not the tank. More and more aircraft, it's slightly in the Axis' favor - but only on fighters.
