In 1980, first presidential race I wrote about it all. Carter put enormous effort into making Reagan unacceptable. And certainly in 92 Bush, they were ads with buzzards on like, you know, on these apocalyptic landscapes. But because voters did not want to continue on the course they were on, they ultimately found a way to convince themselves that the alternative was acceptable. That could happen again.
