Ean, in that section that i read where he points to a lot of natural phenomena, i take him to be linking the action of men in our character with the kind of activity of the world. That sounds very much like schopenhauer or nica. The ebb and flow of things is between going out and acting. And then you get what you want, and then you can rest a little and think about it and sort of digest that action and turn it into thought.
