Gold was repriced from around 21 dollars to 35 dollars. That was a hair cut of 70, a few cent s. So that was effectively a direct confiscation of property. And by the end of the decade, your employment levels and things like that were less than they had been in 19 29. But i think it was because these radical ideas were probably not the best choice madee.
