The Secret of Jesus

When I became a Christian, one of the things that really jumped out the pages of Scripture to me about Jesus was that he never cared if people liked him. Jesus never needed someone to validate him because he knew he was valid in and of himself. His life was so connected to the Father that he needed nothing and wanted nothing that anybody could give him. Not just the rejection of Jesus brought him down. He never even got high on the praises of people.
