The Subpop Record Club sent out 62 singles over five years, from 1988 to 1993. Mother Lovebone was a blend of Led Zeppelin and Guns N' Roses influences. In March 1989, Mercury subsidiary Polygram released the first major label release from the local Seattle scene.
