The Importance of Resilience in Change
When we go through change whether it's positive or negative it takes away our security and our sense of self so for example I might feel like okay well I'm a good enough person okay but then I changed something around. So that sense of myself is threatened a little bit by just even going into a different situation now maybe all of the things in that environment. It was just such a physical reaction and straight away it's like my body knows before I say this to cells you know there's a part of me that hasn't quite caught up with it yet. Initially I felt like I'd made a mistake and I was be berating myself for having made a mistake or having made the wrong move
