Sleep is probably the single most effective thing you can do to reset your brain and body. Sleep as a process, though, is an incredibly complex physiological ballet. The changes in brain wave activity are far more dramatic than those that we see when we're awake. We've got non rapid eye movement sleep on one hand, and then we've got rapid ee movement sleep on the other. It's not just intellectually interesting from the perspective of what sleep is, it's allso practically impactful for our daily lives.
