The Evolution of the Scientific Method

I think where it gets kind of weird at least for me is that The argument that the earth is not round but rather that's flat or whatever it is Isn't necessarily the scientific method. It seems to kind of go into a place where it's really All the special secret and hidden knowledge about how it's some sort of cover up by the masons and the Jesuits, right? I have hope in a can of worms here. There are people who hold to the flat earth for you because they don't have a definitive Proof they haven't seen it with their own eyes, right?
