Is There a Better Way to Filter Bad Language?
There are some DNS options for this but I'm not sure they're going to filter bad language. There's certainly DNS solutions that will block adult content like a JPEGs and then like piholes getting there in terms of letting you choose which devices you want to be restricted to. If you can provide a Raspberry Pi onto her network, if you can go and help her get it set up then I think the web UI with pihole is very usable by normal people. And if you're in the EU or not, I know Cloudflare, you had one will before it was Cloudflare that had a kids kind of version of that.
