When Do I Quit and When Should I Stay?
I get asked that question all the time. And I start off first figuring out if this person has marketable skills. If you're just somebody who's a good pair of hands but doesn't have a outstanding skill that you're known for, you're less marketable. The worst thing you can do is to go and indicate that you want to quit but don't quit. You lose your credibility in the organization because people say she's already checked out. In fact, perform even better before you quit. So people really miss you when you leave.
