The History of the Pilt Down Man
In 19 66, a trunk found in storage in the british museum was discovered to contain bones. Some had been stained in a similar manner to the pilt down man. The study involved dana analysis, dating analysis and spectroscope measurements. It also studied three dimensional representations of them, which is known as virtual anthropology. Analysis confirmed that teeth in the mandible were from an arangitan - probably one born in borneo. Attempts to figure out whether there are any missing orangitan specimens in local museum collections have so far been unsuccessful.
