We are likely to spend an increasing amount of time in virtual, virtual worlds. These will be authentic experiences, and they will be largely good experiences,. People have this response, well, that's an impoverished existence. But actually you know, we know from being here that living in a constructed environment like ay new york city, hawell, it's not so bad. Maybe it's artificial, but it's brought with it new forms of meaning and interaction which enabled new forms of communities.
Philosopher David Chalmers reckons there’s a 25% chance that we are living in a simulation. And he’s OK with it.
