Cinema of Meaning

00:00

The Irish Civil War by Colin Farrell

The movie takes place during the Irish civil war. At first I thought is this some kind of allegory maybe I don't but it does feel like it symbolically is a form of microcosm of two friends friends who sort of clash over maybe over nothing or maybe to one party over nothing to the othermaybe over some kind of feeling of misunderstanding and almost because it kind of escalates by accident. It's more of just a story about the absurdity of certain kinds of conflict and how they can escalate in these ways that maybe don't make a lot of sense or how conflict kind of can breed conflict.
