There is sexual difference not just biologically, but conceptually as well. Men produce things out in the world, and women are more preoccupied with like artifice. The muse doesn't care that she doesn't have songwriting credits or isn't producing work. But this whole also very feminist narrative that muses don't get their due credit throughout history is patently false.
