Is There an Agrarian Question in the Global North?
There is still an agrarian question on a global scale, but the form it takes in the global north has been displaced. Most of our food used to come from Andalusia in Spain, or from the Netherlands with seasonal super exploited labor. Now much of our fruit and vegetables come from similar conditions, but in Morocco. That's hidden from us in our day to day life. We don't we don't see it, but that doesn't mean it's not a live agrarians question. So I think we pay attention to demands and movements and struggles in the global south.
