The Importance of Confirmation Bias in the Church
I'm just reading the juxtaposition of synodontinality criticism and Eucharist revival criticism. You don't know if it's what the person thinks or if it's just what the person feels obliged to say by virtue of the tribe to which they belong. And it's, it's not healthy or helpful for us. People want to read confirmation bias. They want to read some that makes them go, yeah, that other people bad, me smart. That's why it gets written. 80% of commentary, the purpose of it being written is not to sway minds. It is to make money.
