What's Going On?
There are incentives for behaving in a certain way that are far more, you know, they're more reptile brain than neo-co-text. Some say it's purely institutional or primarily institutional stemming from HR departments but really it spreads everywhere over time and drips into regular culture. For many reasons, majority of nonprofits are funded by the top 5% of their donors make up 90% of their income. And I think that there's a bunch of other things that come together to create this strange cultural place that we're in.
