E U. Parliament Adopts Digital Services Act, but Concerns Persist
The european parliaments internal market consumer protection committee has adopted the digital services act, d s a proposal by 36 votes to seven against and two abstaining. The e f f points out that there's kind of a lack of enforcement. They're also concerned that it basically gives authorities a blank check to access sensitive user data under the guise of this act. And they want facial recognition to verify the age of porn watchers.
