The Word of the Lord - Exodus, Chapter Ten
The land that was stripped and despoiled by the locusts in chapter one is now made verdant and fruitful once more. The prophet seems to be foretelling the fulfilment of moses' wish for all his people to become prophets. And a further day of the lord is awaited at the end of the chapter, where not just reigns, but the spirit himself will be poured out on all flesh. He would remove the northern enemies from them and drive them away out of the land.
