There's an official IntelliJ Rust plugin for Dart and Flutter, but I haven't tried to plug Rust into it. If you're interested in doing Rust Python stuff, you should really look at Matron. It makes publishing Rust code to PyPI or PyPI really easy. And you still have to learn Rust, which is not easy. The main thing that I would like to say is if you're interest in contributing, even if you don't know that much Rust, then you're interestedin learning.
