The Mystery of Peggy Perez-Olebo
Carlos Perez-Olebo was shot and killed in front of his wife's house. A former client, Elio Cruz, believed Carlos had botched his defense when he got sentenced to prison for killing his wife's lover. Detectives decided not to give Carlos a polygraph since they can't be used in New York State courtrooms. They also didn't need a lie detector test to tell them that there were strengths in Carlos' account of an unknown armed assailant.
