The Importance of Intuition in Coding

I've only been like coding for about three years and I taught myself, but I did have this question. How do you know on Stack Overflow that that is the right answer? And I sort of said, Well, I don't know, I just kind of have a feeling that if it's too complicated, it's probably not the right answer. But I'm pretty sure now it's probably to do with pattern recognition that you see the pattern isn't really right. So when I look at, I go, Oh, the pattern, that doesn't feel right. And then I know it's wrong.
