Is Collective Bargaining a Social Good?

I think that teachers should be able to collectively bargain and that we need to be able to separate out contemporary politics on hot button issues. I've had been involved with sort of academic union and unionization campaigns a few times in my career. Having, you know, being part of a relatively strong union has some benefits, although also some complications. And so I mean, I suppose what's kind of interesting is... perhaps another conflict is there have been these kind of advances in sort of white color unionization as well.
