The Importance of Humanity in Philosophy

After her parting shot, that's the saddest thing I've ever heard. It occurred to me that maybe what's missing is humanity. You have a very well defined philosophy of particles, but doesn't philosophy have to say something about people? Well, yeah, sure. Philosophy has something to say about people. If you read my book, The Big Picture, I talk about people an awful lot. It's a big part of things. And I think it's got to be compatible with your philosophy of particles because people are made of particles at some simple level, right?
