Is Market Activity Corrupting Our Morals?

I'm very aware of and committed to a belief that market activity is primarily corrupting. I think this might get back to the different understandings of what a market is. Is a market something that just exists and operates on you, or is it something that you actually have to be a co operative, social human being to participate in? Am, which connects more to this process formulation of people needing to be actively engaged in order to allow the economy to become informed of their values and needs. It's quite an abstract argument. But i think of all the evidence that we have, i think they've shown that there's a tendency towards markets ameliorating corruption, rather than increasing it
