The Activision Microsoft Antitrust Lawsuit
Microsoft is buying Activision, one of the biggest game companies in the world for $69 billion. The federal government announced they were going to file suit to stop it last week. Were you surprised? I was not surprised and that's mainly because of the new commissioner of the FTC, Lina Khan,. She has been kind of out there rattling her saber and saying she wants to take a tougher stance on antitrust laws and regulation. So this feels like an opportunity for her to make an example out of one of these big tech mergers.
