Historically we've heard about women dying by suicide by maybe cutting or taking pells, whereas typically we see men do more violent things like using firearms or jumping. But now, i would say, as women are in these roles that are traditionally masculine, it's just not surprising that they're also taken on behaviors that are acceptable in these new spaces. If you talk to women who might be depressed in their full time moms or their full time home makers, they're probably not going to the bar and having six shots later.
