Is the Current System Passing the Market Test?
i'm sympathetic to the idea that education is massively inefficient and that we need less ofit. Receiving a trillion dollars an subsidies per year is the definition of failing the market test. It's like saying football statin are passing the market test when they're getting enormous amounts of government subsidies. To which i always say, how about you spend a few hours teaching the stuff they really need, and then keep them there as day care and let them play,. Let them go to the library, but don't go and just waste their day with boring stuff that they don't want to do.
