Is the Space Economy Going to Be a Fragmented Economy?

I was imagining the big, traditional aerospace and defense companies playing a big role. Are they being disrupted in the space? Will they continue to play as they have in today's aerospace and defense world? Or is the space economy going to be a more fragmented economy with many more players sharing in those valley pools? I fully expect more people will prosper in the future than prosper today as participants in the space industry. If you look at a country like Costa Rica, they have a thriving components space business that they want to grow.
