The pizza ninjas project is built on rare Satoshi's from the Bitcoin pizza transaction. A guy named Lazo was online in the Bitcoin talk forums and he paid somebody 10,000 Bitcoin for two Papa John pizzas. And so it's kind of like a holiday every year in the Bitcoin community, the day when that transaction happened. The most important thing you want to do with an NFT project is try to create meaningful experiences that can bond together your community.
