30% of women in marriages are abused, but only one to 4% end up getting a divorce. Can you explain why there's such a wide discrepancy between the number of women who are facing forms of abuse and then those who actually get out of these situations? I think society wise, still very hard for a woman to come out of a marriage, go to the court and get a divorce. It's not easily acceptable. There is no support system first of all. Then you have to be really financially independent to make that decision. And even those women who are very financially independent, you know, on a comparative scale, often find this decision very hard, especially when they're our children
