Is the United States Not Considering Social Security Reforms?
The French are considering changing the retirement age in order to cut spending on the pension system. The United States is also running a 5% deficit to GDP, and there is no long-term plan in the United States to lower deficit spending to below 3%. Richard: Isn't it pretty ridiculous that France, the bastion of European statesism, is doing better when it comes to shrinking government spending than the United States?
