I'm a Christian, but I Don't Know What Religion Is.
Longstreet: I am now in a very loving and healthy relationship for the past two years, and he is wonderful, but not a christian. My bf and i both grow up in the south, influenced by toxic christianity. It makes me so sad to think i would have not dated him in the past just because of his religious preference. Your positive experience doesn't negate somebody else's negative experience. And all that matters is your truth and what you experienced. Like this is why i try to like crowd sorts and share people's different stories,. ranging from like funny to more serious, to the varying levels and implications this would have on a person.
