How to Be a Successful Advisor

A lot of advisors just won't burn the ships. They won't do that really hard work. The easy path here is to step back and say, what are all the successful people doing? Why don't I just do that? That's really as complicated as it needs to be. You have a choice. Do you wish to follow the path of success or do you wish to create your own path through the woods but the way you're going is failure. Those are the two options in front of you. If you keep going down this path of saying what all thesuccessful people have done, I'm going to do something completely different. Why would you expect to have a successful outcome?
