Currently, there isn't enough evidence suggests that cell phones are capable of causing cancer. EMF's electromagnetic fields aren't capable of penetrating your skin in a way that's going to induce damage in a chronic way to cause cancer. An alpha particle or X-ray has greater potential at damaging DNA despite their inability to penetrate through a surface. So even if like I've heard the, again, from very notable people that having your cell phone in your pocket can increase your risk for cancer, but it's like, if your cell phone is emitting that much radiation, you bought a bad phone.
