The Challenges of Arbitrage in the Crypto Market
A lot of the reasons are the infrastructure. It's actually very difficult to do a large trade because you'll just get your money stuff filled, like severely rate limit how quickly you can withdraw any of your funds from the exchange. Even if you can do it, they're going to send a wire transfer to your bank. And so that can make it quite difficult to do one of these trades. You know, there's a lot of things you take for granted when you're trading US equities. If you buy a share of Apple on the New York Stock Exchange and you sell it on NASDAQ at a higher price, you just made money and you successfully completed your trade.
